Our newest creation. Mom said it looked like a miniature of her wedding dress! We removed a few to use on the shoes & panties. The panties are pictured before we put in the elastic, we were waiting for measurements. Mom had a flower she used in her hair which we transformed into a gorgeous headband for the baby. Unfortunately, forgot to take a picture of it!

It’s not very often we get pictures of “our” little boys in their christening outfit but here’s the cutest little guy modeling his “one of a kind” outfit. Thanks Erin, for letting us publish these pictures!

Marissa (love the name) came to us with only the bottom of the train of her gown, which she had had trimmed off, so no “before” pics this time. We had to supplement the gown with satin fabric for the bodice and used the train fabric for the bottom of the dress as well as the bonnet. Marissa was so impressed with our results, saying it was “more beautiful than she could have imagined”. Blessings on the whole family on this special day!

Our favorite part of creating these one of a kind outfits is seeing the expression on Mom’s face when they see them for the first time. We

had a great time with Kristi’s gown, even though the beads and sequins were flying all over the place. The bottom of the gown had such wonderful lacework while the top had beautiful beadwork. We agreed with mom that with all this going onto the bottom of the gown, less was more on the top. She also wanted just some small trimwork on the bonnet and of course the shoes finished it all off. Mom was also included in a You Tube video we are trying to put together, stay tuned!

Okay, so we can’t help being in love with our own creations, especially after we see how adorable they look on the babies. Here’s Emmalynn again showing off her gown and especially her hat. Don’t forget to check us out on www.christeningcreations.com!

Thank you for helping to make her day even more special.

Pictures of baby Olivia in her “one of a kind” christening creation. Our thanks to mom for sending us pics of her little cutie. There was another family in the church who were impressed by her gown and asked where she got it and mom passed on our information. Thanks Jacqui!

From beautifully adorned gown and veil we created a christening gown, bonnet and shoes. Mom wanted the bottom of the skirt to be used with it’s satin band and appliques and the beadwork in the gown bodice for babie’s bodice. We used the veil  and decorative beadwork to create sheer decorative sleeves.

We tried something new, adorning the covered satin buttons with beads & “bling”. Mom decided on ballet type shoes, which we adorned with beading from the veil. We also used the beaded bodice to create the bonnet.
